In line with WHO’s guidance on the COVID pandemic, a 21-day lockout period has been put into effect throughout India since 22nd March. India, so far, has been relatively unscathed and this social distancing exercise is to further ensure prevention and containment. The decision for a 21-day quarantine is based on interpretations of the outbreak data and the incubation characteristics of the virus.
We wish to confirm that Cabot’s operations have not been directly or indirectly affected. We remain unaware of anyone at Cabot who has the virus. As mentioned in our previous update, the teams have been working-from-home (WFH) for a week now and shall continue to do so during the lock-down period. Client projects are progressing as planned and our support teams are available as usual for any assistance. All our planned as well as any ad-hoc meetings, reviews and demo calls are happening smoothly. People will return to office locations full-time when local conditions improve.
We, at Cabot, have been closely keeping track of the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation both globally and at our local offices to support the welfare of our stakeholders - ensuring sustained productivity in safe environments and maintaining business continuity for our clients.
Members of our leadership and senior management teams, including the CEO, have been continuously reviewing our position to ensure we have proper measures in place to operate effectively under the changed circumstances.

We’ve taken a number of steps across a number of potential scenarios, in response to the Coronavirus situation, for the welfare of our people and for business continuity.
Business continuity
Cabot has always had business continuity plans in place for each office covering critical client support teams. We are confident that our Independently located data centers and effective failover/ fallback strategies will mitigate any disruption to clients in case of any Corona related adversity.
Teams operating remotely is a tried-and-tested operating mode for us. We have cloud-based workplace technologies including web-conferencing. There have always been continually assessed protocols put in for effective communication and collaboration while working from home. Given the current scenario, we are also stress testing to ensure smooth functioning for an extended period of time.

At this stage, we do not expect any serious disruption of our operations. However, we have taken reasonable steps to mitigate any. In response to advice from the Indian government, we are encouraging the teams in India to work remotely. People will return to office locations full-time when local conditions improve.
